About Skin Ethos
Skin Ethos is a specialist skin clinic dedicated to supporting skin health with advanced skin treatments. Based in Larne, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, the clinic takes a science led, personalised approach to achieving healthy, resilient skin.
Founded by Gillian Rossborough, Skin Ethos brings together 19 years of clinical experience with 16 years of working with professional skincare brands including DermaQuest, Epionce and Obagi. This extensive experience has shaped a clinical approach that combines practical expertise with a strong understanding of skin science.
Gillian’s career began with Destination Skin, before she went on to establish and co-own Beyond Skin Clinic in Belfast for nine years, until 2025. Her experience across both clinical environments has provided extensive knowledge of advanced skin treatments, professional skincare and personalised approaches to skin health.
Following her time at Beyond Skin Clinic, Gillian established Skin Ethos as an independent clinic, creating a private space focused on considered, evidence based skin care. Treatments include advanced facials, skin peels, SkinPen microneedling and radiofrequency, with each treatment selected for its established effectiveness and relevance to individual skin concerns.
Skin Ethos was recognised as a finalist in three categories at the NI Beauty Excellence Awards 2026, including Skin Clinic of the Year.
Consultations are thorough and holistic, looking beyond the visible signs of a skin concern to understand the wider factors that may influence skin health. Gillian’s particular interest in nutrition, lifestyle and the biology of the skin led her to pursue a BSc in Biology, with a focus on human biology, further strengthening her commitment to evidence-led practice.
Every treatment plan is individually considered, combining clinical experience, skin science and a broader understanding of the factors that influence the skin. The aim is not simply to treat the skin in the moment, but to support optimal skin function, resilience and long-term skin health.
