  • It creates precise micro-injuries that trigger the skin’s natural repair process, leading to increased collagen and elastin for smoother, firmer, and more even skin.

  • A course of 3-6 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart, depending on the treatment concern. Additional treatments may be recommended for more advanced scarring or texture concerns.

  • Early improvements can appear within a few weeks, with continued collagen remodelling and visible results developing over several months.

  • A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand. Most clients experience mild prickling but find the treatment comfortable.

  • Expect redness similar to sunburn for 24–48 hours, with possible mild flaking as the skin renews.

  • Microneedling is used to improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles, acne scarring and texture. A consultation is required to confirm suitability.

  • Microneedling is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you have active acne, skin infections, keloid scarring, certain medical conditions, or are using specific medications. Your practitioner will assess this during consultation.
